Bike is in Southern California.  Back to Sales Index..
Matching Numbers: Engine # CDF 3969 Frame # 346 3969

The bike is completely disassembled but it was running and complete when I
first got it.  It doesn't have the original tank badges and has the indian head fender
light instead of the original style. I think the horn is also not original.

It was disassembled with the intention of restoration. The frame and forks have been straightened and rebushed (I went with bushings instead of the needle bearings, and added zerk fittings as the emphasis was to be on riding vs. concours judging.) This work was done by John Bivens (Indian Engineering).
Everything else has yet to be worked on. The sheet metal is very straight, with zero rust/dents, only a small tear at the front fender mounting hole.
Cylinders will need to be sleeved, unless someone wants to replace them for
new ones. No broken fins, cracks, etc. Very nearly complete.
It also came with a pair of saddlebags of unknown vintage. They are in excellent condition.
