 This is a ex Military Chief
(ex Australia) which has had a full ground up restoration. This is a very nice
looking and equally nice riding Chief. This beauty sports metal reproduction
fenders, homemade toolbox and rear carrier and other subtle custom refinements
such as '47 Indian script on tanks (note the correct military tanks with the GAS
and OIL markings), moving the (correct) horn to the magneto boss etc and all
easily converted back.
It has a very rare Corbin Indian script 130MPH speedo reading 31254 mi, correct
moto lamp headlight, Indian script ammeter and ignition switch. The engine and
gearbox has been fully rebuilt and she has done only around 2000 faultless miles
since.
The 18" tires are still near new. It will be supplied with the thick leather
scripted saddle bags (as shown in some photos) and is supplied with a
reproduction clear windshield (not shown)
