This is an easy project for restoration, its a 1926 Indian Scout, 27ci (600cc), its almost all there including those hard to find bits, like,  front and rear stands, carrier,  the correct headlamp (rare), ammeter & housing, Schebler carb, Splitdorf  DUx generator, oil pump, Splitdorf  magneto, saddle, tail lamp etc. It is missing the exhaust, foot brake pedal, clutch & brake linkages, oil and fuel lines, tank caps and primers, generator cover,  handlebar control wires, wiring loom etc, all available as reproductions. The battery box  and toolbox are pretty rough but still has the correct lock on it.

The frame has a small kink in the right lower tube, it is almost unnoticeable and doesn't affect engine/trans alignment. If a bar was bolted to the pedestal eng mounts a bottle jack would almost certainly take care of it.
Fenders and sheet metal is all original, rust free and very sound.  Tanks appears sound but may have been repaired.
The engine and transmission have been entirely overhauled some two years ago and never yet started, turns freely, carb will need rebuilt and magneto will need to be timed up - nothing much else to do here. Engine cases, barrels and heads are in great condition. Wheels and hubs are rebuilt, using 18" 741 scout drop center rims and have good tires.
